Destiny Finn is an award winning filmmaker, storyteller and photographer who loves to travel. She’s also the CEO and Co-Founder of Finn and Burk Trading Company. Writing, rock climbing and eating huckleberry flavored things are also all big hobbies of hers. She’s the published author of Stillness in the Garden and a Youtuber.
Both of Her Documentaries ‘Chasing Goliath’ and ‘Sven’ have placed in international film festivals and can be found on her youtube page @destinyfinn. In her free time when she’s not working on a some creative project, she’s traveling and gaining continual experience in the art of living life to the fullest.
Destiny Finn believes that every single human being is a creator. Creation is at the roots of human nature. She believes you are capable and worthy of creating and living a life you love while living a life of fulfilling adventures. She believes you have the potential to do big things and become the person you dream of becoming.
It’s her mission to always live life authentically and vibrantly to the fullest. It’s also her mission to help you do the same. No matter what she’s creating or doing you’ll see that mission within that moment and project. Whether it’s woven into the stories she’s filming, the words she’s speaking or the images she’s capturing, she hopes to always instill the fullness, authentic and vibrant beauty of life and the freedom that comes with pursuing one’s dreams to create a life you love.
Though originally born in Michigan, she travels full time and pretty much lives out of a backpack and a camera bag. You can pretty much always find a camera in her hand or hear her saying something like “that would be a nice shot.” She loves meeting new people and making new friends and being immersed in different cultures. Her favorite place to be when she’s not traveling is Alaska, the land of the midnight sun. She enjoys spending time in dog yards mushing and photographing their cute furry faces.
