This past summer I went back up to Alaska to work and live on a glacier. But it wasn’t at all what I expected, but rather exactly what I needed to grow… Fast forward and they need a cook down at sheep creek, their ground camp so I get sent down there not really knowing what I was getting myself into… But the truth is it was the best part of my summer. I am truly grateful for every moment at sheep creek and all the people I got to meet and memories I got to make and now cherish dearly…. With all that being said, rejection is simply redirection and I’m thankful for the rejection I felt on the Glacier because it redirected me to Sheep Creek, aka Gold rush dog tours located in Juneau Alaska. What a pleasure. What a pleasure it was to work and live here. What a pleasure it was to laugh in the rain. What a pleasure it was to meet each and every beautiful soul.
